Wild at Heart
« on: April 09, 2004, 18:50:34 »
What a day, set off for the allotment at 9.30 and spotted this Muntjac deer grazing as I turned into the road the allotments are on.

Then I lifted the pile of carpet on my new patch just to see what might still be lurking, and snakey/slow worm was there fast asleep, so I didn't poke him around.

And at around lunch time I was digging away, and look who wandered in to say hello, and to see if I had any leather gloves he could steal!

Wow EJ - you certainly see life in your part of the world ::)  How lucky you had your camera with you.  Do my eyes deceive me or is that cheeky fox marking his territory on your patch :o :D
Happy gardening all...........Pat
