2006 - Jams & Jellies
«

Thought that I'd start a new thread, we had one for chutneys and pickles, but nothing for jams - so here goes:
1. Redcurrant Jam
2. Mirrabelle Plum Jam
3. Lemon Curd
4. Orange Curd
5. Lime curd
again my 1st attempts at anything like this, so far all have tasted good, also made plum jam in diabetic method, and low sugar method
Still about 50lbs plums on the trees next door, so more jam to follow!

More jam - this time it's Damson - my favourite - (don't tell Paulines7 though) - there's a rumour that my Mum's side of the family steal damsons from my Dad's side! :o
Must admit these were a swap for some plums- not stolen! ;D

Prink, I have brought the 'preserving chillis' thread to the top of the recipe board as the chilli jelly recipe is there! ;D
For a selection of my jam recipes, see my blog! ;D ;D

Chris, you don't even need a fruit tree - I have got most of my preserving fruit for NOWT from the hedgerows! :)
Anyway here is my contribution. Feel a bit intimidated by EJ and Prink's number of entries so may go back and do pretties of all my jellies.
