Just had a look the first thing I got to was the radish.

The seeds are 1p each and you have to order a minimum of 5.

Ideal for the window box gardener.

The sites owner mentioned it here.
http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,45187.0.html
There is a £1.50 P+P charge & orders will not be despatched until January.

At the bottom of the homepage they offer thanks to Moles which suggests the possibility that is where they are buying the seed from. Using Radish F1 Apache as an example 1000 seeds from Moles costs £1.90 the same quantity from seedsuk would cost £10. Why not just buy direct from Moles & if there is too many seeds in a pack for you to use then swap some for something else in the swapshop section of A4A.

Good luck to the guy, I say. It's not what I'm looking for but it's probably got it's place...

It's not what I after either. I just thought it was an interesting idea and some people may want to order small quantities.

I must admit that I didn't read the small print!

I think that the principle's a really good initiative and more power to Gary's elbow & I really wish him success BUT.....my Ostergruss Rosa seeds for example....(from memory)...200-300 seeds for 29pence at Lidl? I'd only realistically need 24 seeds in a year (assuming 50% germination and these are BIG radishes ;D).....think it might be the small supplier being out-priced by the big concerns, given overheads, packing, postage etc when throw-away the surplus might be actually the cheaper option? As a new business, might be concentrating on specialist hard-to-obtain seeds be the way to go? There again....small market perhaps? Dunno...
