I have grown some good sweet william and brompton stocks for next year but i am unsure about overwintering. they are in open ground at present (i live on the south coast). can one move them late summer and do they need protection through thewinter? Many thanks.

Hi Helen, sweet williams are hardy biennials and need no protection from winter weather, plant them in the final position in september and look forward to next years display.
