Munching Melons
« on: August 23, 2006, 20:13:36 »
Dear all,

I have just impressed the in-laws by serving my first ever home grown melon as a starter at dinner.

It was grown outdoors on my plot in London and it tasted fantastic. Not sure of the extact name but it's a small cantaloupe type. To be honest I held out very little hope when I planted them out in early June but I am so chuffed with them.

They more than make up for the onion disaster!

Stork.
