Fantastic - what equipment do you use? I can never make close-ups work well with my didgiecam.

Thank you for your comments. I'm a pure amateur using a Nikon Coolpix 4600 and that was quickly snapped with the camera hand held. I feel a bit of a poser using a tripod though I do have one.
I have been told that Nikon lenses are some of the best for macro shots. I have also had some good tuition from the Studio Online photographic club. I was taught how to get the best from my camera rather than just use the autofocus all the time.
