Told you Tim
« on: July 18, 2006, 14:18:50 »
The cucumbers have arrived in Essex!

These are lemon apple, or apple lemon, or crystal apple cucumbers.  They suit us as number one daughter eats them like apples, no waste!

Something for me to look forward to, EJ - our Crystel Apple are still only at the first flowering stage.

In the open on the allotment Tim.  The short whites are a touch bitter, so I will be getting frisky with the boy flowers tomorrow and giving them a pinch, but the crystal apples are delicious!
