Galtonia candida or is it princeps?

We have grown a large number (500+) bulbs of said Galtonia (Grape hyacinth 1 metre tall, white,Summer). The bulbs are about the size of onion sets. They take 2 to 5 growing seasons to reach flowering size. BUT has anyone any idea of the over winter treatment. They are 'naked' bulbs so one would not expect them to take kindly to drying like daffs. Keep 'em bone dry? Just moist? How warm? I dunno.

I keep my lifted bulbs in old compost. Not too damp, but it protects them from drying out completely.
Galtonia have survived in a pot under my greenhouse bench, not watered, until spring.
the mature bulbs survive very well outside.

They are in the Summer House with the Arisaemas and Frits and baby Dierama, so hopefully they will survive. Be interesting to see what happens to the ones which self seeded round the garden, especially the ones in the paths. Also got Galtonia viridens which survived outside last year.
