where to put green house
« on: July 02, 2006, 11:02:47 »
Ok its not a green house its a 3 shelved plastic thing that i currently hve on a south facing wall... everything seems to be cooking in their and wilting. I cant open the door or else the chickens will go in there and eat everything.

Could i put it on a north facing wall or an east or west facing wall?

What do you think would be best? As i think its just toooooo hot south facing.

I have my seedlings in there and toms/aubergine

Have you tried shading to save the hassle of moving it oo? A big bit of fleece, net or something?

I've had a towel over it for the last few days - but the sun still catches the bottom 2 shelves...

It wont be a hassle to move it as its plastic - just not sure where to move it.

sounds like anywhere but there!
east facing, if you can - then in the hottest part of the day it will be shaded, but will catch the morning sun
I have had a towel draped over me most days too :P
