Rhubarb & Strawberry Crumble
« on: June 22, 2006, 19:40:31 »
I knew rhubarb & rasps went well together but we have loads of rhubarb & are currently coping with masses of strawbs so married them together in a crumble. It was DELICIOUS so have a go if you haven't already.

Have also tried  rhubarb and strawberry crumble and can throughly recommend it!
Cooking the rhubarb and strawberries together until it becomes a sort of compote is very good as well - try it with icecream, greek yogurt, rice pudding, blancmange and any thing else that takes your fancy...

Oh yes, good idea on the compote front, or composts as we call them. I usually have a number of variations in the freezer.

Sadly we don't eat much jam EJ.
