bizarre rabbits

Read on an animal rescue website:

"Socks and Dodger are two lovely one year old rabbits who are now the proud parents of four kittens that were born on 20th March 2006."

Excuse my ignorance,  it appears baby rabbits really are called kittens. I imagined these 2 bunnies with 4 meowing kittens   ;D!
