Toms in growbags
« on: May 21, 2006, 11:41:09 »
My tomato plants are about a foot tall & outgrowing their little pots, but the instructions on my growbags say to wait until the first flower before planting. What would you do?

if they are going in a greenhouse I would put them in now. I have planted mine and they are fine.

I've said this before - if anyone can tell me how to get toms to flower before they're 12" tall & hopelessly leggy - apart from starving them like the g/centres - I will bow at their feet!!

Ok, thanks- they'll be in the bags tomorrow. At least that's one job I can do in this weather!
