Blooming blooms, blooming cat
« on: April 30, 2006, 07:23:09 »
Hi all,  :(

I brough home a small bunch of beautiful tulips and daffs yesterday.
Now they are only fit for compost. My cat (Hailey) just won`t leave them alone and they turn up in peices all over the flat.

Does anybody elses cat do this? I`m thinking of getting something like a big bell jar and only displaying flowers under it. What do you think?

Col
... I am warmed by winter sun and by the light in your eyes.
I am refreshed by the rain and the dew
And by thoughts of you...

Bigger bell jar for Hailey?

Ours just used to get entranced by flowers in vases.....delicately sniff them one by one. Sheer class, that cat -  I'd put flowers on the dining table when peeps were coming round for eats ::)....the starters might go missing, kit's tum might be fatter - but the flowers were still beautifully arranged ;) ;D ;D ;D

Yup..Bud loves his greens!! Cannot grow herbs on the kitchen windowsill cos he eats them...although he does not seem partial to basil!! He has managed to leave cut chrysanths alone and carnations, everything else he sees as fair game!!

Ellapuss has to drink the flower water from the vase every time. We've had a few disasters as you can imagine.
Hey maybe she eats my Tete a tete dafs, not the fantom daffodil eater.
