Topic: Pelleted Chicken Manure

As my compost will not be ready for a bit, I have got some organic pelleted chicken manure.
Is it any good?
Which group of veg plants like it best?
Any other related tips?

It is best used as a nitrogen boost as it is highest in this element.

So good for leafy crops for instance.

Typical NPK is 4.3-3.2-3.2 plus trace elements and magnesium.

As a comparison Growmore is normally 7-7-7 I believe.

It's great stuff, you can bung a handfull in a bucket of water, when it's dissolved you have liquid feed

use it on anything really. good smelly stuff. Dont be afraid to put plenty on though, it dissolves to nothing, so chuck it on good and thick.

buy yourself the biggest bottle of perfume you can afford!!! this stuff stinks. i spread it on two beds in the plot and had to sit downwind or gag.i couldn't eat up there. even the next plotholder commented. i'd rather eat horse manure than smell it again.

If you can spare it, it's also good in the compost bin for faster compost  :)
