Success at last Gardener - I can see your photos ;D ;D  Beautiful pics of the fox but how soul destroying to see the damage, but I think I would forgive him as he is such a gorgeous animal ;) :)
Happy gardening all...........Pat

Ecellent photo's. You have my interest in what camera you're using and time of day/light etc. It looks as if you walked up to him and said, 'Hold it a sec!'

Hi Gardener, they are such superb photos of a superb, and a confident animal at that.   It's a pity they kill chickens and ducks, I could quite like the fox.    I was amused at the upended pots at the end.
Every best wish, Colin.

For Kenkew;

You ask>>You have my interest in what camera you're using and time of day/light etc. It looks as if you walked up to him and said, 'Hold it a sec!'

It was a Canon sureshot Z115, taken mid morning.

The way he was reacting I think he must have been used to it.

I think I could have got even closer, but didn't want to risk losing the shots so zoomed in on him from about 6ft away.

Looks like the site downer last night removed quite a few posts, including my reply. I guessed that your cam is a 35mm? If that's the case then you must also have scanned the pic's in? And to get just 6ft away is incredible even tho' todays foxes are quite 'humanised'.
