Yes, all of those and a few other bits and bobs such as carrots, basil, chillies, marigolds and the like.

It is looking a bit different at the moment but I cant wait until I am fussing about watering and pollination and aphids and vents not opening and white fly and blight and .....and....and.....and....and!

Must be mad!

Wow! What a collection! I've always grown tomatoes outdoors, do they do a lot better indoors?

The main advantage of indoors is the protection from blight and they crop earlier. I was picking in June last year I seem to remember.

But they do take more more with watering and feeding.

I was picking in June too, thats because we are in sunny south Devon ;) My seeds are far behind at the mo  so I'm not sure they will be ready so early this year. Like you say worth all the watering and care though  8)

Tim

That one is a standard 8" by 6" and heated by electric at home. I also use 2 plastic walking 8 by 6 greenhouses at the plots, these only get put up in April and are removed by November and are un heated.

So I dont have a huge space but I fill it as best I can!

i reckon there should be a date on that photo, like 3rd July 05 or something!!! ;D only joking  ;D i see u've got the added bonus of bubble wrap! how do you put it in and keep it up, don't suppose the ol' sticky back plastic does the job does it? and how early do you start germinating and do you get some good early crops?

Yep, I use clips very similary to those and they work a treat if you have an aluminium frame house.

That picture was taken mid June last year so you were not that far out.

Sowing starts back in October for a few things but I dont add any heat until Feb. The bulk of the sowing then starts.

Toms in the greenhouse are a good moth earlier than outside and we do get some early crops, at the weekend we had a great pick of lettuce and carrots are only a few weeks away with new potatoes in about 7 weeks I hope.
