1910 gardening manual
« on: March 03, 2006, 09:23:44 »
This is fun, if anyone's interested. It's a 1910 gardening manual - American, but none the worse for all that. http://www.gutenberg.org/dirs/etext05/8mgrd10h.htm

Quote: "The man who worries morning and night about the dandelions in the lawn will find great relief in loving the dandelions."

If it's slow at work today :D I'll see if Project Gutenberg has a Victorian vegetable growing book to link to as well.
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.
