Topic: Edible pumpkins ?

Down at the lottie last night and the old bloke gave me some pumpkins and the rest of the green peppers. He said the pumpkins were decorative ones but they look like the edible ones to me - How can I tell ?  They're round and orange - should I post a piccy ?

Thats an odd one......I mean...are guords edible or merely decoration.....I grow malabar melons, and they are for decoration, but I did think all squashes were edible, it's just some aren't that great to eat....  I guess you will be carving halloween decorations then?   ;)
