Have I grown the smallest onion?
« on: September 22, 2003, 21:41:39 »
Just harvested my onions that I started from seed way back in January. Started out OK but then turned yellow and went limp so I planted them out before they died. Eventually they recovered colour and turned a healthy green once more. Then they got bashed by wind and crowded by some of my other veggies that were doing much better.

I think the biggest onion was 3cm accross but the smallest was and amazing 3mm which dwindled to 2mm after I had prepared it for lunch. A subtle hint of onion and then it was gone.
