what have i let myself in for

my dad made orange wine and to me it tasted like whiski (sorry for the spelling) it was good i was wondering if the longer you leave it the stronger it get is that the same for all wine made he made allsorts of veg wine im thinking of asking for his equipment is it hard to make my dad made his when we were out of the house or a sleep ( so we didnt ask for any ) :'(

never heard of orange that tasted of whiskey
But carrot whiskey is good.
Once a wine as finished fermenting and stabilized it will not get stronger the longer you leave it , but the taste will mellow and improve.
