I bought it last year, again from Amazon, together with a book called Allotment Art. I thought it was good, the stories of what people have done with their allotments and what they grow on them gave me plenty of ideas. I'm not sure about the ferrets and the pigeons, though.

Some of the stuff in Allotment  Art is amazing. It's mostly paintings but on one allotment site, someone put on a dramatic performance involving people being buried to the waist in the soil and goodness knows what else.  :)
