Photoshop painted pictures
« on: January 15, 2006, 13:01:14 »
This is a picture I took whilst bored yesterday. After seeing the great flower and plant paintings posted thought would have a play with Photoshop.
Its only a first attempt so please be gentle.

Last one, taken from earlier in the summer. Not sure if I like the effect but will still have a little play for now.

A couple more photos. I've managed to get the conversion process down to 1 click of the mouse now. I just open a new image, run action ( for anyone who doesn't use Photoshop, a bit like a macro in Excel.) A set of pre recorded instructions to the program to convert the image. Saves a lot of time in the long run, doesn't seem to be quite right but near enough for now. Obviously title added after.
First photo is the original image, then a new version just using 1 click.
Hope you approve

2 more to end posting untill the weekend.
The picture of the beach towards Porthcurno is one of my favourite original photos I took whilst on holiday in Cornwall.
Sparrow was showing off for crumbs at the Mount.

Absolutely beautiful - but I'm never going to paint again!!!!
