Congratulations on your forst seed purchase! You'll soon be hooked on this allotmenteering lark!  ;D

Not sure about the other two but I've heard that Desiree are very easy to grow and don't suffer slug damage.
Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.

I planted Desiree on a half plot that I took on last year. The soil had'nt been touched for about 15yrs and I was staggered at how good the Desiree were. So definitely those for me this year too ;D Always go for Arran Pilot for 1st earlies...real earthy flavour ;)

I grew Desiree last year as well and they were really good - much better than from the greengocers. I am growing them again this year.
I haven't grown the other varieties you have got , so I can't comment on those.

Desiree, are a good cropper, fairly resistant to most things including drought, but can suffer bad ant damage on the skins when it is very dry, just makes the potato look a bit poor, and not that appetising if baked in jackets but doesn't affect the taste.

Don't personally know about the others, but I have found entries for them on the ECPD (European Cultivated Potatoe Database)
http://www.europotato.org/display_description.php?variety_name=Accent
http://www.europotato.org/display_description.php?variety_name=Maxine

I hope this helps.

Accent and Maxine are resistant to eelworm. Desiree is prone to scab on light soils.
