Red Acre - Sow early spring (March) under cover. Transplant to 18 to 24 inches apart.
Copenhagen Market - Sow indoors 4 to six weeks before last frost and then transplant when large enough to 18 inches. Can also sow direct after frost risk has passed.
Iceberg - sow every 4 to 6 weeks from Spring through to September
De Jesi - sow from late spring through to July to give a long cropping period up to December.
