foxy visitor
« on: January 08, 2006, 16:55:59 »
my first foxy visitor appeared today .... he (?) was trotting down the lottie, close to the hedge and saw me, but didn't look surprised or peturbed, met my eyes and just continued at same pace before popping through an obviously well used hole in the hedge ... he was a beautiful faded red, pretty big - and definitely much more welcome than my ratty residents.

a pair of foxes, one red, one distinctly grey wandered over check out my youngest daughter last month.
sophie, aged three has a strange affinity with animals and chatted away to them as if it were the most normal thing in the world to have two wild foxes walk right up to you. :o
looked rather too much like wolves if you ask me!  :-\

We have  a family of foxes on our lottie site. Trouble is they love bulbs and dig them up, drives us all mad when you have just spent ages put all the onion sets in and next morning some nice foxy has dug them up and eaten them. They dig big holes in the communal maure heap too.Wouldn't be without them though.
