Herb shopping

Today I went to buy some established herb plants for my companion gardening. Bought lovage, basil mint & comfrey and it stunk my car. By the time I got home I felt so sick.
Had to put them outdoors immediately & when I went out later I could still smell them >:( I do have quite a sharpened sense of smell!!
What have I done ??? ??? ???

The mint I would have thought was lovely. The lovage I have no idea on. The comfrey, yes I can understand you feeling unwell ...

I think, Anna, as soon you have put them outside, the smell ( Oh, I love lovage) will be less. Just enoughto be nice.
