My dog can fly!!

All four feet are off the ground.  (The snow sends her a bit more barmy than usual).

I thought so, same as mine but yours has more brown hair.  I have now changed my profile picture back to one of Meggie.

We haven't had any snow yet.  Meggie often used to jump up in the air on her run around the paddock but doesn't do it so often now that she is 6.

What is your springer's name?

Megan too!!  They must all look like Meggies when they're pups.   :)  My Megs is 4 and a half now.  Just as mad as when she was a pup.  I can't see it getting any better.

My Meggie is known as Shawondasse Princess at the Kennel Club, Megan at the vets and in her passport, but we only call her that if she is naughty.   >:(  Most of the time she is Meggie, Megs, Megsy, Meggylump or Meggie Moo.   :D  :D

She seems to understand everything that is said.  If the words car, chickens, eggs, out or garden are mentioned, she jumps off her chair and runs to the front door.  If we mention cat, dog, pheasant, mouse, rat or elephants, she rushes straight over to the patio doors to look for them.  She certainly scares them away for we never see any elephants here.  ;D   ;D

This is her on a website:

Yep.  She answers to Megs, Meggy, Meggymoo and anything else that sounds like it.  She understands everything too - maybe not elephants - but we don't get too many of those on the coast.  Mind, she has her own special words that she understands....

Looby Loo and Pauline. Enjoyed looking at both dogs. My pest is named  Borderose Heavenly Miss. She was named Elsa by Joshua.. (Grandson)  Josh came to Ipswich with Charlie and me to collect her., he was only 4 at the time , we let him name her.

Josh seems very wise.  You don't want to be hollering all that in the woods!

My next door neighbour was given a springer pup for christmasby her grand kids.  He is really little and called Zak.  Merlin has had a sniff and was singularly unimpressed.  Would like to think they may become friends as her last dog chased him from the garden and he has just claimed her garden as his since the old dog died.

Baggy. When Pepsi (Lorna's dog) and Elsa go for walks Elsa is fine but if Pepsi comes in to my bungalow she has a look that says "This is my domain" she is so territorial..We are seriously thinking of putting a gate between the two back gardens so that they meet more often.

There is a gate between the 2 as her dad built both houses.  Merlin is a cat and he used to hop over the gate and wander round her pond.  One day the backdoor was open and Sam came racing out to chase him.  He dived over the gate, but it was unlatched and he nearly swung back into the jaws of death.  It was really funny watching him trying to balence on the swinging gate.
