Perpetual (three-year) cauliflower plants
« on: October 25, 2005, 22:20:26 »
My lottie neighbour has a little patch of self-seeded perpetual cauliflower from hi (non hybrid) planting that went to seed. The first year (he says) they do a cauli, then the following two years they do cauli shoots.
They look v. healthy and I plan to scrump them this weekend and plant in one of the beds at the back of the lottie to see how they do.
Any not bagged this weekend he will dig in :'(

Anyone want to give the little sprouts a good home? ::) I thought I could try packing in a plastic bag in a box and posting 1st class. They will have had a nice moist time all week and might travel better than Dobies  ;D

If you're interested, please post a pm and let me know how many you're after (10 or 20). I'll post up to five packages to genuine peeps f.o.c., so get in touch!
