Old Wives(or not)tale
« on: November 02, 2003, 21:58:39 »
;D
Cucumber seed should be sown before daylight on the 1st of May by a well endowed man, naked and in the prime of life. The size of the cucumbers depends on the visible virility of the sower. ::)
Make of that what you will.

It is a new one on me and originates in the USA.
More will follow as an occasional series.

Can`t see why he has to be naked and in the prime of life.  He could just as easily make the planting holes with a dibber!
