what's in a name?
« on: September 14, 2005, 12:00:58 »
well, there are some nice Mimi spuds pictured in a4a veggie show, my mother is a Swede as is her best friend (Joan & Marian), my husband is a cabbage of January King type, my friend from uni - he is a carrot, another friend from there is a florence fennel, and one of my mum's friends is a butternut.
I think I would like to be either a tomato - perhaps a dark red with pink stripes plum type (if there is such a one), or a nice strong flavoured garlic. What would you like to be?

A peach.  Soft, sweet with golden smooth skin.

Think I'd be a pear - then there would be two of me to keep on top of all the jobs  ;) ;D

Come to think of it Mr W is a pear - William ...........

Asked my OH his thoughts on this one...apparently I'm an avocado  ??? bullet proof and tough on the outside, but a real softie on the inside...not sure whether to punch him or kiss him!! Wanted to be a soft strawberry or an enigmatic asparagus, but no, I'm an avocado...... Lottie  ;D
