You're really too late for leek plants now, but I get them in the local market.

I have some in a pot still, they may not get to a huge size but need planting out. My crushed foot has stopped me. If you want them I may be able to get some to you.

I have lots of leek seedlings in individual pots (about the size of a chive) - I am waiting for them to get to pencil thickness to plant out in a dibbed hole (as per some advice I was given).  Am I wasting my time, or will they grow?

Jerry that would be great, if you're sure you won't be using them. I thought it might be too late, but may be worth a try anyway, I've got so much space coming available on the plot, it will just sit empty otherwise. :)

Drp me a line with your address and we will see what we can sort out. I live down by Haywards Heath but commute up to just north of Redhill.

We could even risk the post I guess.

I don't earth them up, but bung loads and loads of mulch around them now (about 9" deep) which settles down then all disappears somewhere ??? once they are dug up. No complaints from the household (yet) ;D
