Garlic plaits
« on: September 11, 2005, 13:35:08 »
I had a go at making my garlic crop this year into decorate garlic plaits, like you see for sale at posh markets etc, they looked pretty good but have started to come lose. I am guessing there is a special way of doing these plaits.
Does anyone know how to do them correctly?
Thanks

don't braid them too tight or they don't lay right.

A bit of twine threaded in with the plait should help, or so I believe anyway ...
