Topic: allotment wanted

Help! I have just moved into the area of Garstang in Lancashire and I would love to have an allotment. I currently have one in Blackpool but I would rather have one nearer to home.  8)
Does anyone in the Garstang area know of any allotments round here? Also, where would I apply to go on the waiting list for one? ;D
Any help will be great. I so enjoy growing my own stuff, and if there isn't one nearer then I will stick to the one I have. But it is gonna be a bit of a trail in Winter. ???
Condition doesn't matter too much, so long as it's close by.

Check on the local council's web site and their sites will be listed - maybe some of the private ones will be mentioned too  :)  Good hunting  :)
