Wait a minute! All this time I thought Pale Fire was 'our' Sue! If she is, then you are not 'Sue from the other side' which doesn't matter. Now I am curious. C'mon Sue, tell us.

One day you lot will have to tell people like me what on earth you are on about... what is all this "other side" business - I am guessing you mean Another Website but it sounds like it was full of kerfuffles!

Well that's alright then.

MagpieDi has cleared up the mystery backstage, and don't worry Tim/Hugh, 'tis only me of yore, and you won't be getting a solicitors letter (although how that came into I don't know ;-?

Had a few kerfuffles on t'other side Tenuse, but great fun.

And where's Rosebud and Alishka?  Go away for a while and it all changes....

Don't worry about Ozzy, discovered I have him locked in my wardrobe by mistake (now, should I throw away the key? :D

Hi Rosebud

Thought you'd got rid of me then?  Thought it was safe to tread the boards again?

And wot you mean, you've been trawling the internet?  There's a name for girls like you, Mary, Mary, quite contrary.  ;)

Just been a bit tied up, bit of zigging and zagging, darting hither and thither (try saying that with a lisp!)  Has Lishka gorn orf with the man with the carrot?

Hope you are alright and your garden all tidy and tucked up for the winter.  Winter? I'm sitting here with the back door open and no heating on.  I expect we'll pay for it.

Still don't understand why dear Tim put out a APB - and the solicitors letter  :-/

Cheers xxxx

You`re not `with it` Suze.  The Lawyer`s letter is an old joke from the Beeb days when a certain  poster took offence at some personal remarks.  What generally follows a Lawyer`s letter is....sue

Suze O, I don't think is the Sue Tim meant. It was Sue, Mary's daughter right? The one from the sollicitors letter, the sollicitor being impersonated by the offended party herself. Confused yet? Well there were others feeling treatened by the sollicitor who wasn't. The poor lady got a bit weirdo which she already was ofcourse but we pushed her over the edge, never to be seen or heard from again. You missed all that fun didn't you Suze O?

Can you remember who it was, Ina?  Wasn`t by any chance the lady who was fond of hedgehogs whom I likened to the squaddy with two left feet, was it?

Oh Lordy!!!! And when I came home today I thought that Group4 still hadn't got their act together & left the door open by mistake ;D

In fact, it was a Fiendish Plot to get me here to clear up the confusion threatening to overtake our Cyber- Lottie?? A Mares-tale, indeed...

Right then!!!!  ... this is quite easy to follow ...  ;D ;D ;D...

1) Biblical Sue (daughter of Mary), who  later went all Gothic on us & is now 'Palefire' (may her flame continue to shine out over the Winter Landscape of Never-Never Lottie-Land), said 'd**n* on the Beeb Board...

(after, may I say, a long wind-up thread contributed to by, amongst many, Double-Dutch, Tim?, Eric?...oh! and possibly, just possibly,  myself... ::)

2) This post was taken exception to by someone.... strangely,  the Poster had a name which was taken to be female by most - but American male by me (being a more Cosmopolitan sort of carrot-cruncher, like..)..think of the historic Reception Place for immigrants to the USA and you're there...

3) When Palefire aka Sue (NOT 'Sue xxx', but 'Sue', you understand??) realized that the use of the D-word was causing upset but wasn't about to edit it out (the 'edit' facility not being available on Auntie's Board..Auntie being a Good Catholic Lady & disapproving of rubbers, you know)...

two things happened...

1) The confused Lady with an American Gentleman's name (let's call her Schizoid So(a?)l)? - pretended to be his/ her own Solicitor and threatened Legal Action...for...???..well, we never quite knew what...lots of jumbled words, so let's say fsdlij; sd;les;r  wjklds????...(approximately)...

Now, this seemed to be Serious Stuff, particularly in the State of California and, to a man (?!!) we rallied round, in defense of our Queen, our Constitution - and Ower Sue...

2) She/he then, as his/her own Solicitor said that she/he was a Little Emotional and was having a quiet lie-down in a darkened room somewhere, and may be some time...

(and Mary, Mother of  Biblical Sue, now Palefire, retracted her statement that her daughter had been ...

ADOPTED!!!!!   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

But Hugh talks of the Hedgehog Lady...ah! Bless!!! Someone else again...she got upset over on the Ablative Kiddies Board...

but that's another tale...

I hope that this clears up all the confusion. I shall now go for a Quiet Lie Down myself in a darkened room, but...

shall I be alone??????  -  Lishka

Well done Lish! Strong as ever.  The tale is exactly as our master tale teller Lish the dish told us but to those not part of the saga it may seem confusing. Well........... it was.

The hedge hog lady that was all over me was mild compared to the one from the immigrant island near NY. This lady posted the sweetest poem about being nice to hedgehogs and children so a bunch of us started posting hedgehog recipes and how to deter children from trampeling plants and such................ heeheehee but she had no sense of humor.

Where is Pale Fire?  Come on out, it's safe here.
