How did he get the war wound on his snoot ?  Or is is coloured fur. My Barney had a pink bit on his nose where he was got by a rat.  Served him right.  He chased it thinking it was a squirrel.
Get with the beat Baggy

Our dog loves baths - in fact he often jumps in when D is in the bath.

Sorry guys - been told I cannot post a picture of our dog in the bath  ;)

:) Try using Johnsons "No Tears" Baby Shampoo, Harvey may not like bath time but he doesn't get sore eyes ;D

See I knew it...I have a dog who does stuff like that after a bath, though she usually jumps onto my bed when I'm not looking.

Took Cass down the beach, she came back after rolling in something stinky. Oh my gawd I was nearly sick. It stunk the whole house out. No dog shampoo so I used OH's tea tree stuff. Her coat has never looked better! She wasn't impressed though, she obviously prefers to smell like a dead thing when she's hunting down her biscuits in the kitchen. She was doubly unimpressed when she discovered her blankets had that" fresh as a summer's breeze" scent.  (Jump on my bed will you?!!)

Hi Wardy,
The word bath sends Becky scurrying under the table, she loves water but bath is a totally different situation. >:(

We now have workable scenario for this event, I pretend that I am taking her for a walk. I put her collar on and attach the lead, my son goes into the bathroom removes the shower head in preparation for the event.

I walk her to the front door( the bathroom is on the right)we usher her into the bathroom and lock the door.

My son lifts her into the bath and battle commences, we take turns of washing and holding her in the tub.

When its all over and she has been dried and brushed she goes in the huff, I have never known anybody who can go in the huff like she can.

I usually get the brunt of her displeasure, if I offer her a treat after the event she just gives a snort and turns tail into another room.

Hi Kitty,
Having great difficulty getting my head round that one especially with my son being present. :o

PS:- The O/H prefers her bath with scented candles plenty of bubbles and a good book, after which I make myself useful by administering a cooling herbal foot massage. ( major brownie points) ;D

well wardy obviously got it!(evening wardy!) ;)

premtal-its just that you use the name beccy-which is usually short for rebecca and is a womans name-at no time do you state(kitty puts on mr bean voice)that beccy is indeed a canine.....so some of the more literal among us may assume beccys your missus...
just a spontaneous joke..
sort of.

Hiya Kitty - good to see you back.  I promise I will come into your shop one of these days, but, can you believe that I went through the entire summer holidays without crossing Broadgate (except in a car).  No money and lots of lottying.

Only got as far as the Jolly Brewer and Sippers.

Hi Kitty,
You were at a disadvantage as Wardy already knew that Becky is our female(she does not like the term pregnant dog)canine dowager. ;)

PS:- Had I attempted that maneuver with the O/H both son and I would be in traction and I would not be sending you this post. ;D

Hi Kitty,
The text in brackets should have read "she does not like being called a b.i.t.c.h." (GOD I hope that's not an omen) :o

Hi Kitty,
My O/H was 2nd of nine children, and basically acted as mother to seven of them for reasons best not gone into here. ::)

Lets just say she ran a tight ship, and not a criminal to this day among them. ;)
