I don't know

A relative of mine passed away, and at the far end of the his greenhouse left me a plant to take care of, well at that time it was a twigg, but doing the honourable thing, I took it away and put it in my unused greenhouse thinking I had done my duty.

A few weeks ago I had reason to revisit the greenhouse to see this looking at me.  But ghosh what have I inherrited  !!!!!!

Lucky you indeed, it is a Datura.

Please be careful with children and pets though, all parts of this plant can be deadly poisonous.

Good luck,

Rosie

I believe it's a Brugmansia, rather than a Datura, the difference being that Datura blooms face upward.

I think that's a fairly recently decided distinction in the horticultural world.
Lesson for life:
1. Breathe in     2. Breathe out     3. Repeat
