Marrow Rum

I've got two marrows fermenting away and getting very soft inside my wife's stockings! I've read different advice as to what to do next. Do I poke a couple of holes in the base to let the liquid drip out or does the marrow deteriorate so much that it drips out anyway? I intend leaving them for a few weeks as instructed.

Petemason,
I think you just leave it as the marrow will deteriorate over the weeks,
according to the thread someone else posted.
I'm going to try it!!
