Party n Panto
« on: December 12, 2003, 00:11:34 »
Ok you Lovies........................
Are we definate on the date for the party? 19th December? (I need to let the boys up at the fire station know) Time? Dress? food? is it Bring your own bottle? (will try and encourage the firemen to not wear dresses!)
PLEASE Dan,pretty please, can we have a spare shed for the night? You of course will be the guest of honour, and can sit under the misletoe all night!

And how about the panto? Same night, different night?Has it been cast and I have nodded off in front of me screen without realising!
Don't forget we need dress rehearsals etc. ( Plus Ozzie needs to know so we can get him into costume and outta that wardrobe!)
DP wanders off muttering 2B or not 2B, what was the question?

Hiya Doris, this party animal is ready to go!  The 19th is in the diary and the best dress is washed and ready for removal by the fireman  ::).  Happy to do the panto on the same night.....I don't know about the casting....last count I think I was up for the part of Maid Marion, altho it has been years since I was a fair maiden!   ;D  I have the sloe gin ready, mince pies made (heavily laced with Amaretto), and a huge bunch of mistletoe for shed fun and games!   :-*

Well, according to Hugh, the BRILLIANT author, I am in love with Reginald, What I want to know is who is up for the part of Reg, cos I get to kiss him in one of the final scenes!!  Sad to say I think for my part in the panto, I get to wear me allotment gear, you know, wellies, wooly hat and thermals....................
But for the party, I may get me tiara out of the bank again, tho the magpies were very interested in it last party, was that you Di? won't make the same mistake of wearing my high heels again tho, kept sinking ;D DP

....we could.....but they would see all that open freshly dug earth and would not be able to resist the urge to wrestle in it - think of the compaction!  ;) (and think of the drouling men!  :o)

The 19th's fine wih me, I think we volunteered Dan to be Reg the lottie man, so, Dottie you'll be able to judge his enthusiasm by the size of shed he might donate for the proceedings.

............and if the russian wrestling team do turn up the I'm sure the fellas' will make good use of them
.......... and give them all shovels
....... and then become advocates for blanket doubling-digging of all allotments !!!! ::)

you will be warm enough, once you have a few elderberry wines, or sloe gins, or both, down your neck!  Lovely!  Then we can get the fireman to light a well controlled fire to keep us all snuggly and toast some marshmallows on.....

Them girls can double dig my lottie anytime....I have a load of manure waiting to go!(and I am sure I can find a spare spade or 10!)
EJ, you bringing the marshmallows then? Home made or shop bought?
Perhaps we should gather some firewood, hope Ozzies costume is not too realistic!!
