Sunflowers beginning to open

Planted a few different sunflower seeds at the back of the garden.  These are (I think) Velvet Queen and Vanilla Ice.  (Or they could be Autumn Beauty and Italian White.)  Anyway I like 'em. :D

Hi Jill  LOVELY. Never grown sunflowers but I am going to next year...I am sure the young Grandchildren will love them.Have to get some education  on planting soil site etc. Regards Lorna.

Thanks peeps. :)  Previous year I sowed a whole packet straight into the ground and only one grew, so this year I started them in modules.  They're all multi stemmed - great for cut flowers.
