Have to admit, the weather couldnt be much worse for ones birthday if it tried. Thouroghly depressing.  Spending the morning in front of the computer (no change there for a wet saturday morning).

Trouble is this place is deserted. Everyones busy nursing hangovers from last night i suppose (me included).

What i wouldnt give for the sun to come out and the temperature to go up by about 10 degrees! Thats one of the down sides to having a birthday at this time of year.  That and the proximity to christmas of course.  (No it does NOT  mean twice the presents, I have to supply a list for both occasions combined.)

I have been seriously considering this morning, doing the same as the Queen an have a real AND official birthday. Say sometime in the summer? Could still have cards now, but have the  pressies, and a party/day out in summer (e.g. 20th June?). Does that sound good or not?

I have a little black book which I make notes in and if you remember you let slip about your birthday on the Beeb board.  Don't forget it is CL's tomorrow.  

I don't think the party had started last night when I turned in!  Can't take the late nights at my age! :'(
Was amazed to see how many messages there were. Haven't had a chance to look at them all yet.  

Weather miserable here as well, roads flooding - roll on summer!!   Good idea of yours having an official birthday in the summer.  I don't have that problem as mine is in August anyway, but it invariably rains on that day!!  See you over on the Beeb tomorrow.
