and onaother thing aout important stuff like :) is that in my in box I has like 20 billion messages like, and I cant read one of them..... Hi Oz.I don't know a lot about these wizardry things and last night   Horror!! could not get the Internet!!Boo hoo :'( :'( :'( :'

Blamed my server(Freeserve) and went to bed early for a change.Soon as hubby went out the door;back on this morning to try again.Still no net.So i trawled through all the boxes with things i know nought about  and discovered i must have unticked a tick where a tick should have been (Don't know how,cos our friend who put the computer together for us....Brill chap!!) warned me in no uncertain terms about ticks and unticks and changing things.Any way at least it worked :D :D : and here I am again.It was like cutting my arm off(cut my head off you wouldn't notice the difference)

How are you today.? Feeling more like the ozzy we know and love I hope?  ::)

I was locked out yesterday afternoon - no probs with puter - telephone line was playing up!!!

Wonderful stuff this technology - until it stops working, and then you realise how much you miss it!

Just about back working again - it's taken me three days to clear out what looks like a virus (or similar).  It changed/trashed lots of windows system files, and internet explorer files.  Still not very stable, but getting there.

And that's with an up-to-date virus-checker, firewall, and spybot!  B.....d made me miss the party - managed to get on for 10 minutes very late on, and crashed again.

Another useful bit of free software - F-Prot Antivirus for DOS.   Even if your attack doesn't let you into windows, you can still track down and eliminate the virus.  Downloadable from here http://www.f-prot.com/products/currentversions.html , and make sure you download the latest signtaure files at the bottom of the page.

HI OZZ you and me both with the pigging puter playing
had trouble for6days but it is all sorted now all anti virus installed my son-in-law did it all for me  :) ;) :D.
it`s surprising how much i missed the boards its like missing all your friends at once.Are you really going to buy a new pute? I am going broadband from 6th jan.
get fed up with this waiting every time i want to do something :(. have a great christmas. I wonder what santa will bring you  ;D ;D cheers now nice to be back.
