Well, we'll take it that you ain't too fond of New Years Eve then Oz?

Personally, I have never gone to any great lengths to celebrate it, had a good one 2000 (well I think it was 2000 - blimey don't you just hate this short term memory loss!)

Sorry, what was I saying?

Oh yes, usually in bed well before midnight (If I'm lucky  :o)

I agree, if I'm not in bed by 10 then I'm going home!!

Also not a great fan of the cult of new year.

Yo Eric

hear you loud and clear mahn

once upon a time and it aint once upon o'clock.. we didnt have dates as such and time was governed by the sun and the moon.... in this life I have been fortunate to meet asylum seekers from Sudan.... now we had to tell them that they have to have a date of birth.. something very strange to them.... " iwas born under the sky" is te attitude and because of draconian home office rules we put them al down as new years day..also have met somalli aylumsekers, sum of them real warriors... coooool

lets kill santa clause :)

Nah Ozzy, lets just kill the hype and commercial claptrap and let the true spirit of the season revive itself.

or.... the chap in the red suit can be made redundant, turn to drink and drugs and end up being arrested when he attempted breaking and entering via a chimney!!!!

New year....since the sprogladites came along we haven't really done much.  The kids are put to bed as normal, and then Ava and I cook a nice meal, open a bottle of something nice (and I don't mean Ribena!  :P) then snuggle up in front of the fire, with the telly on, watching all the new year rubbish that is on, whilst we get pleasantly inebriated.   ;D

Know what you mean all. Glad its nearly over. Can get back to normal then.

To be honest i am BORED sick of sitting indoors reading or watching TV (which is largely cr*p this year - hurrah for Sky plus!)  Weather hasnt helped, cant get out to work the excesses off, didnt even get out on Boxing day as I normaly (try) to do.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY need to get back into the garden again ti do SOMETHING! (dont care what).

New year to get over first though.  Usualy spent quietly (getting drunk) with the family (boring i know, but its cheaper than going out and getting drunk!).  Usually good, but last new year not so, diddnt seen much to look forward to in 2003, and 2002 had been a good year for me.  Hopefully this 'New Year' will be better. More to look forward to in 2004 I think/hope ( :-/).  ;)

Know what you mean Richard

Crimbo bad time of year for so many peeps, too much emotion flying around, memories, stuff gets really out of hand, pressure to eat, drink, spend, enforced jollity and good cheer  :(

Hoping 2004 better year for you
