Does many of you buy gardening magazines each month? If so, which ones?
For the last 2 months I have purchased one called 'Kitchen Garden'. Up to that I never purchased any. I find this one very interesting with nice features on allotments each month. The pictures are great...and makes you go 'if only mine looked as good as that'
I have flicked through the BBCs Gardens World magazine in the newsagents, but find them far too glossy and given that they cover all types of gardening from flowers, veg to garden design it covers areas I have no interest in. On the other hand Kitchen Garden covers only veg, fruit and herbs.
So if there are other garden magazines that you read....do tell!!

I get BBc Gardeners World more out of habit rather than content; and the RHS The Garden, nice piccies!!
Do get bored of design articles though.

I used to buy Gardening News but after several years I found it a bit repetative,it is a weekly Newspaper.

I get the RHS Garden mag every month. I used to subsribe to Gardeners World mag, and had it for a few years but I started to find they just repeated the same old stuff year after year after year, I guess the problem is, they are catering for the next generation of gardeners who need to be taught how to take cuttings from Fuschias, or plant bulbs. :-/

I`m the same as ThomasB with Kitchen Garden, and that`s only because my sister purchased a year`s supply for a birthday present, and as already said is very interesting in the main. What with those and the computer mags I subscribe to, there`s not a lot of time left to read them all, specially when I`m on the net so much!!

Gardening Mags:
We have a subscription to the weekly Amateur Gardening magazine. Its pretty good, and generally 'in sync' with what you should be doing in the garden each week (more than the monthlys are), althought they have gota bit out of sync lately. The first issue of 2004 arrived 2 days before Christmas!!
Pretty quiet mag in winter, but for 9 months of the year (spring to autumn) they always send out a free packet of seeds each week which is very good.
Monthly magazines; Gardeners World and Garden answers. Personally i think the GW mag is better, as Garden Answers tends to be a bit designerish, and the advice isnt always accurate. Of course the GW mag has articles written by well known gardeners, which are ALWAYS worth reading.
Oh and at the moment I also get 'THE GARDEN' the RHS magazine. I was given a gift membership of the RHS last christmas, and although there have been some good features in the magazine, it is a little bit elitist for my liking, and probably will not be renewing membership.
