Whats your worse and best time in 2003
« on: January 01, 2004, 18:45:18 »
Mine was the start of the year our son was sent to Iraq so I was stressed out like many mums for 6 months.

So I took on a lottie to control the weight loss and channel the frustration and it worked.

Joined this site and with plants growing at home digging my plot was transformed in no time and so was my figure hee hee.

Son came home lottie growing beautiful then I was told 4 months latter I am going to be a granmother.

Oh boy what a year 2003 was

Best time

Sitting in me gardy... everthing doing its thang, I had this icredible feeling of massive intensity as I realised tha my garden was absolute truth.. everthing is what it is... the cornflowers were so beautiful but as well there was the odd breeze that would shimmer through the beans,,, a rustling tree ... most awesum thing I have ever seen... in my back garden.... front is a tip... well not a tip but no rose garden either...

worsst time... gardenwise.. none

splitting after 17 years of married life is a bit of a bummer but been trying to save it for 5 years now and things have now come to a stop..
sad but hs to be done we both need to have sum fun..

Proper touching that is Oz...

Best bit of 2003 - me Mum made it through bone marrow transplant - nasty business....

And discovering the joys of lottie ownership, even if it's still a jungle with a small clearing...

Worst bit of 2003 - seeing me Mum go through bone marrow transplant.

And not being able to light my bonfire - it's still there, still wet and still refusing to burn...

My worst time 2003 was waiting for the results of the cell biopsy from some lumps my daughter found in her breast, thankfully all was well.

The best was also the above when we received the test results, but another good one was weeding at the allotment one day last July, the birds were singing, the sun was shining, the sky was blue, and all of a sudden a huge big bubble of contentment and happiness settled over me - I think it is called "Bliss"!  :) busy_lizzie

Best and worse in 2003?

In the garden, seeing all my hard work coming together at long last, and begining to enjoy the garden not just gardening.

Worst, having it nearly be undone by the long hot summer and autumn drought.  Watering for ever more.

Outside gardening, nothing springs to mind, good or bad. As i have said elsewhere 2003 was not the most memorable of years at a personal level (outside the drought/heatwave which affected us all). Pretty mediocre year really

Nothing as, I guess serious is the word I am looking for, yes serious as you Oz, busy_lizzie, mystic, muddy and teresa......I am thankful to say!  :-/

So, best time.....ummm...a few really....learning to ride a motorbike in the summer - how cool was that! and taking our little girl to 'big' school for her first day.  And of course,  getting my new lottie!

Worst time.....ummm...you know....I really can't think of one!  Lots of wee niggles, but, okay, wracking my brain now.......nope, how lucky am I, I really can't think of anything.

Well, I've had anxious times, bloody times, good times and BRILL times ;D but really! unlike some who've posted here on a diff. thread I can honestly, honestly, honestly say I've never had a 'bored' time :(

And I just know that this year will be the same? Bit more of one, less of another? What the heck! It's called Living & it's great to be alive & to look forward to whatever this year's got in store for me - and if this year is the year of The Final Curtain? Well, as gardeners we all know that there's a season for everything, right?

So if life's an attitude-of-mind, hey! I'm an Lady with Attitude  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D -  'Lishka
