Boo Hoo
« on: January 01, 2004, 22:29:52 »
Depression rapidly closing in as first day back to work tomorrow :'(

Only good bit, is I work for a company that constantly needs to be online 24 hours a day, so will be able to have a peek here on and off through the day :)

Anyone else got to go back for the first time tomorrow?

Maybe if we can drink enough this evening we might forget about it until the morning? :-/

No MM have one more day off before back to work :).  Have been to work over the holidays(only time I regret being a nurse)  I dream of finishing on Christmas Eve and not being back until around 3rd Jan.  Still only another 17 years til retirement :( :(  Don't work too hard .....break yourself in gently.

If it's any consolation, I am not allowed to go back to work!  Wait for an op.  No great shakes but would give my eye teeth to get back to work!  Hope you all cope well tomorrow and that you will find it less onerous than you think it will be.  After all, it will be a rest from all the business of eating, drinking and being merry! ::) ::) ::)

I don't know!  It's alright for you lot, only just going back to work, I have been working all through Christmas and New Year!  I have been a cook, cleaner, taxi driver, hostess, and dare I say scrubber!  (of the kitchen floor of course  ;))

;) ;D ;)

Here, here EJ - spare a thought for us poor old housewives who never get a break from work :'( :'( :)

I don't even get one when we go on holiday as we always go self-catering! :(

Hope your op goes ok MB - I bet you would rather be going back to work :) :)

I'd love to be passed fit enough to work, but I much prefer not actually having to, if you see what I mean.
MB, hope the op is all that it should be.
