« on: December 27, 2003, 18:40:50 »
Did you all get what you hoped for? I alas did not get my shed or my lottery win...........(Mind you have not been up to the lottie yet, so maybe he left it there!)perhaps the shed was too difficult to wrap? But  I DID get  a trug! (wanted one since I was about 16!) And stuff too numerous to mention.... Oh ok, a new silk dressing gown was one thing,2 containers towards my home made wormery, twine, seeds, etc.I was spoilt rotten I was ;D
Did you get your Trug legless?
EJ, you get your leathers or diamonds?
Cleo was your greenhouse scrubbed by the elves? Jethro, computer, new Trike?
Marky Mark are their some lovely sleepers at your lottie? and did Campanula get her bike and Tenuse her tools?
Is there a census CD being poured over somewhere by SueT?
Margaret we know got her wish, (Hurrah!)  Did you all get yours!
(Irons in my  book are the work of the devil, and are not included! ;D ;D ;D)    Dotty P.

Hi Dotty

Sounds as though Santa has been good to you this year. The trug sounds cool too!

Like your shed, 'fraid I didn't get the railway sleepers but well pleased with new wooden handle pocket knife and top hole onion hoe, both of which were christened down the lottie this morning! Might need to get another bucket to collect my fingers after using the knife! Maybe I should have asked a grown up to assist?? :-/

Hope everyone else got what they were hoping for.

Happy new year to you (will keep my fingers crossed for a new shed for you) ;)

Hi Doris, got my census cd but haven`t had a chance to check it out yet, I also got three Kellys Directories - Glos 1902, 1923 & 1939.  The best bit of news, which arrived today, is that my baby grandson is now well and out of hospital!  :D

Hi Doris,

yes I got my tools! I nice all-purpose foldy knife thing, and a VICIOUS looking pruning saw. Plus some bonus seed trays and other bits and pieces.

So now I am all sorted for sawing and cutting and things.... and can I get onto the allotment?? Can I "(%&£$*" as it is too wet, snowy, wet, frozen and flippin' wet to do anything.

I am going to saw through a table leg to keep myself amused. Now where's that saw thingy...

Ten x

Very happy about my pressies, which I mentioned on a previous post.  Would have loved a purple trug, like they have on Gardeners World, but nobody could find one.  My son bought me this ingenious collapsable Garden tidy for me instead.  So glad your grandson is out of hospital SuzeO.  busy_lizzie
