A new name?
« on: December 29, 2003, 01:40:47 »
Seeing all the weird and wonderfull 'pen names' some of you have, I was wondering about changing mine to something abit more exciting ;D.

Any ideas? (Nothing rude please).

PS. Does anyone know if i can ACTUALY do this? I mean without starting from scratch by becoming a 'Newbie' again.

Richard.......

.....very brave......throwing yourself upon the wit of A4A... ;D ;D

Seriously though, it is very hard to come up with something without knowing a great deal about you.........

....we know about your family garden.......your christmas, your views on some gardening..........and some of us have even seen the pic of you.......

...but I like to think that a name is a little bit about a person......that can be whatever they want it to be..........

.......I actually thought Richard_F suited you....... :) :)

Hi Richard. If you go to profile, where it says "name" near the top,and "this will be the name people see displayed" you can change it to what you like without starting again.I changed mine from Maggie to Margaret as that was what most people knew me as from the BBC board. At the bottom, there is also a place where you can type your name to save signing at the bottom of each post.

Just a thought .....

What about the name of a plant. To suit my appearance or nature perhaps.

Based on my Photo, what do you think WOULD suit me? :D

Would have to be a more masculine sort of plant i think (if there are plants out there with names like that)

What about "Dicksonia" - relevant, I thought,  to your name and a strikingly handsome specimen, much like yourself! ;D

Thanks!  SILVER Birch would indicate grey on top.I certainly do not have that!!  Birch would be Ok though.

Perhaps  I should choose  a fave plant.  Perhaps one of my favorite winter shrubs - the dogwood. then again I am more of a cat person.  Lol!

I like Herbaceous plants, particularly Geraniums, as they are tough but attractive. Perhaps Geranium is a posible (or is it too effeminate a plant?).

P.S. D*cksonia antarctica do you mean? I think not overrated, overpriced and over here! Lol!
