Chat room nightmare
« on: January 12, 2004, 00:08:52 »
Not sure where this should go...but every time I try and go into the chat room, my pc crashes...

Is it divine intervention, a cosmic way of telling me to go and wash the pots/do the hoovering or is it something to do with my operating system...

Can anyone enlighten me?

Mystic..........

whenever we have had a "net" related problem, one of the first things we do is clear out the "temporary internet files" directory........

.......and go into "Tools" then "internet tools" and delete cookies and files (just to make sure we got all of them)......

......HOWEVER.......by doing this you lose all your automatically entered passwords on the sites that you visit, so you need to re-enter any passwords and user names when you go into sites.........
