I have a bit of space in my lottie at the min, am I too late to plant some more carrots?? One of my first crops failed due to lack of.... something (?)!! Think probably lack of water. had no rain for weeks in Suffolk.  Thanks Lottie  ;D

I don't think so Lottie.  I planted some autumn variety last week to last through the winterand they are currently setting true leaves.  At worst they will be smaller than normal but still big enough to eat!
Neil (The Young Ones) once said "You plant the seed, the seed grows, you harvest the seed....You plant the seed....."   if only it was that simple!!!

Carrot F1 Primo
Av 1,000 Seeds
Early, 2nd early carrot. Used as a first or second early, bolt resistant with good skin characteristics, strong tops and good internal quality. Very smooth with good colour and fast growth for early cropping. Can be sown in October, December and late winter onwards for successional harvesting from May to August.
