Anybody out there growing Gherkins???

I put mine out about 3 weeks ago an they don't seem to be doing anything, most have just 3-4 leaves on them but don't seem to be growing most of the leaves are a deep green with one or two gone yellow. anyone got any hints or tips or are yours doing the same or better?

Mine are doing OK since the warmer weather started, they've grown about 6 inches in the last week or so, about the same as the cucumbers growing next to them. Don't forget to keep them well watered, especially when it's warm.

Mine spent about a month outdoors just...er... vegetating, and then along came the sun and suddenly they've taken off, with flowers and young fruits developing almost as I watch. I hope yours will turn out the same. Mine are Venlo Pickling by the way.
